COVID-19 Alert: Resort and region may have limited services and amenities, and may require face coverings, social distancing and temperature checks.
IMPORTANT: The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is now considered a foreseeable risk. By digitally signing this agreement, the Renter hereby acknowledges and accepts the risk that the pandemic may prevent or restrict their ability to travel or occupy the rental unit. Renter accepts pandemic-related cancellations will not serve as a basis for requesting an exception to the cancellation policy or penalties. However, if the Resort itself is closed or refuses to honor the reservation, unit shall be considered uninhabitable, and the Owner and Renter agree to the uninhabitable unit policy listed below.
If Renter cancels at least 60 days prior to check-in, 50% of the total rental amount will be retained by the Owner as a cancellation penalty. For cancellations less than 60 days prior to check-in, the penalty is 100%. Absolutely no refunds or exchanges will be given less than 60 days to check-in unless the unit can be rented to someone else. You will be refunded whatever we can get for the week minus any costs to advertise the unit.
Renter's inability to complete their travel for any reason beyond the Owner's control (including, but not limited to, illness, airline interruptions, job loss, state or local government mandate or restrictions) are the sole responsibility of the Renter, and the Cancellation Policy applies. Renter is encouraged to purchase trip interruption and cancellation insurance for such matters.
Renter will pay a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount. The deposit is required to reserve your week with the Owner. This deposit is NEVER refundable unless the unit can be rented to someone else. You will be refunded whatever we can get for the week minus any costs to advertise the unit.
Payment of 100% of the rental amount is due within 60 days of check-in. Unless prior arrangements have been made in writing, your reservation will be cancelled and you will forfeit any deposits paid to the Owner.
If the Unit is uninhabitable or inaccessible on the day the Rental Period commences by reason of closure for pandemic related Mexican Government Restrictions, the Renter will be given a replacement week (based on availability) for future travel at little or no charge. Typical charges range from $89.50 - $239 per unit per week. Renter's inability to complete their travel for any other reason beyond the Owner's control (including, but not limited to, illness, airline interruptions, job loss, state or local government mandate or restrictions) are the sole responsibility of the Renter, and the Cancellation Policy applies. Renter is encouraged to purchase trip interruption and cancellation insurance for such matters.
